I'm a happy man today, you know why?
because I solved my problem!!!
so, what's my problem?
I'm gonna share how do I fix it....
In the past few weeks, I found my iPhone battery drain very fast even in standby mode
which means I started facing the problem that many people is facing
and my Usage and the standby time is Exactly SAME
I started to think about what is running in the background
Trying to find out the solution to fix my problem everyday
I go through all the forum that I know
*If you have a data plan, always with cellular data ON, this article COULDN'T rescue you
If you without a data plan, this article MAY help you, but not 100%
My Device & information of my iPhone
iPhone 4 4.3.3 version
Jailbroken (some of them said "jailbreak will make your battery drain very fast", please, please, please, it's depends what you have installed in cydia...and a lot of people who are didn't jailbreak, why they are facing this problem too? Please go through your brain word by word before you speak!!)
Without plan
I seldom use data, unless emergency
Often use WiFi
Suggestions on forum
1) Turn off WiFi
2) Turn off Notification
3) Turn off Push
4) Turn off Bluetooth
5) Turn off Location
6) Turn off Auto-Brightness or Lower the Brightness
(Everyone knows the above suggestion please,
stop repeating these kind of suggestion!!)
7) Use until battery empty and recharge fully (this may be useful, give it a try)
8) Delete the E-mail accounts and re-add
9) Trickle Charge
10) Minimize use of apps
(The purpose of buying a Smart phone is to minimize use of apps?
What a Stupid Suggestion huh? Stupid enough!!)
Some of you may think "I've done all these"
What I have done
Remove Sbsettings and Winterboard and reinstall
and all the Suggestions and solutions on forum
Trying to restore my phone to 4.3.3 factory version, but failed!
because currently, the newest version is 4.3.5 and 4.3.5 version jailbreak is still in progress
haven't release the "Untethered Jailbreak" yet.
Deleted all the apps and reinstalled
Reset settings and so on....
My Solution
this problem have been tortured me about 1 month
I killed him!! and now you gonna kill him!!
All you have to do is, assume you have a data plan
Go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data > ON
Turn on for about 1-3 minutes (with WiFi ON)
and Turn off it....
and you'll be the happy man!!! the problem is SOLVED!!
Oh My Gosh!!
Needless to reboot, reset, restore your phone, delete this and that!!
It's just SIMPLE as that!!!
